Retail Associate
What we are looking for in a Team Member:
- Has an upbeat and outgoing personality to communicate with customers in a welcoming and friendly manner
- Is task orientated and can take direction while working independently
- Drives sales through engagement of customers and product sharing knowledge
- Assists with inventory, including receiving and stocking merchandise
- Works quickly and efficiently
- Keeps clientele informed by replying to inquiries by phone on product availability or special orders
- Keen to learn about new products and tack equipment
- Ability to adhere to Covid-19 safety requirements for retail and inform customers of the safety requirements to enter and shop within the store.
- Has a solid base of equestrian knowledge in hunter/jumper and dressage, with a focus on the hunter jumper discipline.
- Actively participating in the equestrian sport
- Proficient working on a computer & IPad, comfortable learning an e-commerce software to ring in sales, update inventory & customer records and print product labels.
- Comfortable speaking on the phone with clientele and service reps.
- Can pack and prepare online sales for shipment.
- Able to perform cleaning tasks.
- High school or GED
- Experience working in a customer service setting for 2 or more years.
